Vickers Blue Force Gear Tactical Sling
WARNING
Before attaching your tactical sling, make sure your weapon is unloaded and secured. Forgetting this can lead to serious accidents that can result in death! So let's be cautious, secure your weapon, and remove the magazine. After installing your weapon sling, check that it is properly attached and that your weapon's mechanisms are functioning correctly before using it.
The Vickers combat sling, which has become a global standard in weapon slings, comes ready to use. It fits directly onto an M4 / AR15 assault rifle and other similar weapons. To attach it to another weapon, simply add an adapter (not included). The tactical sling can thus offer its user all the characteristics of a good combat sling, namely: unmatched versatility in weapon carrying positions and instant adjustment without re-modifying the attachments.
Instant Adjustment
The Vickers tactical sling offers unparalleled carrying versatility, with the ability to adjust the sling length with a simple gesture. To adjust the sling length, simply pull the designated tab towards you or away. When the sling is shortened, it keeps the weapon securely close to the body; when extended, the user can handle and fire the weapon with complete freedom of movement.
Stock Attachment
The rear part (stock side) of the sling has two "triglides" straps that allow for length adjustment (independently of the "Quick Adjuster"). The way the sling is attached to the stock can vary depending on the weapon, the type of stock, and the present attachments as well as the desired configuration.
Handguard Attachment
The part near the "Quick Adjuster" of the sling attaches to the front of the handguard of an M4 / AR15 type weapon. The sling attaches in a standard manner using a loop system.
If the Blue Force Gear sling is too long and hinders its user, it can be cut at the end and burned with a lighter or match. However, be careful not to shorten the sling too much, once cut it will be impossible to reattach it to the weapon!
