ARTICLE 3 - DEFINITIONS

3.1 PERSONAL DATA

Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, i.e., who can be identified, directly or indirectly, by reference to an identification number or to one or more elements specific to them.

3.2 COOKIE

3.4 DATA COLLECTED

Welkit collects user data to provide them with the services for which they have subscribed to the platform.

The mandatory or optional nature of the data provided (to finalize the User's registration and provide them with Welkit's offers and services) is indicated during collection by an asterisk.

Additionally, some data is collected automatically due to the User's actions on the site (see the section on cookies).

3.5 PURPOSES

The personal data collected by Welkit in the course of providing services is necessary for the execution of contracts concluded with the User, or to allow Welkit to pursue its legitimate interests while respecting the User's rights. Some data may also be processed based on the User's consent.

  • The purposes for which Welkit processes data are as follows,
  • commercial and accounting management of the contract,

ARTICLE 5 - DATA RETENTION PERIOD

Thus, the personal data collected by Welkit relating to the identity and contact details of its Users is archived for a maximum period of ten years after the end of the contractual relationship for client Users, or from their collection by the data controller or the last contact from the prospective User for data relating to the latter.

The end of the contractual relationship is understood as the express termination of the contract by the User.

ARTICLE 6 - USER RIGHTS

In accordance with the regulations, the User has the rights of access and rectification of personal data concerning them, allowing them to rectify, complete, update, or delete data that is inaccurate, incomplete, equivocal, outdated, or whose collection, use, communication, or retention is prohibited.

The User also has the right to request the limitation of processing and to object on legitimate grounds to the processing of their personal data. The User can also provide instructions on the fate of their personal data in the event of death.

Where applicable, the User can request the portability of their data or, where the processing is based on consent, withdraw their consent at any time.

The User can unsubscribe from Welkit's newsletter or marketing emails by following the unsubscribe links in each of these emails.

The User can access detailed information on the use of their personal data, including the purposes of processing, the legal bases allowing Welkit to process the data, their retention periods, their recipients, and, where applicable, their transfers to a non-EU country and the safeguards implemented.
