The Windup 15M is manually deployed using a handwheel, allowing for a rapid extension of approximately 1 meter per second. All pole sections extend simultaneously, ensuring optimized deployment time.
The upper carbon fiber section is designed to be flexible and durable, capable of withstanding bending and impact when delivering the hook to the handrail of a moving vessel. The pole retracts under gravity but requires winding to avoid free fall, which improves speed and control during deployment and retraction.
