The advantages of this model are numerous: the 19 mm holes allow the ring of most carabiners to pass through for easy flipping, and they are compatible with the passage of ropes or straps for direct connection. The main connection hole can accommodate up to three carabiners, and the odd-numbered row of connection holes allows for centering and balancing the system, enabling simultaneous use by up to three users.

Durability is also a strong point of the Paw by Petzl, made of forged aluminum for an excellent strength-to-weight ratio. The markings are durable thanks to the hollowed-out shape in the center of the multiplier. The size L models feature two additional large connection holes, compatible with the Connexion Fixe and Connexion Vario anchor straps.

With a breaking strength of 36 kN for size S, 45 kN for size M, and 50 kN for size L, this carabiner is both robust and reliable. It weighs 60 g for size S, 180 g for size M, and 350 g for size L, making it easily portable without compromising its strength. Made of aluminum, it meets CE and NFPA 1983 General Use standards, ensuring safe use.
