TIBLOC Blocker

The Petzl Tibloc is an ascender that stands out for its ability to optimize the user's basic equipment. Made of stainless steel, it is both extremely compact and lightweight, making it indispensable for tactical and technical operations. Its design allows for rope ascents or the creation of hauling systems with increased efficiency and safety.

Thanks to its cam with teeth and a cleaning slot, the Tibloc ensures optimal performance in all conditions, even with frozen or muddy ropes. This system of pressing the carabiner against the rope guarantees an immediate and complete grip, thus eliminating the risk of rope damage due to partial engagement of the teeth on the sheath.

The ascender is compatible with ropes from 8 to 11 mm and offers a resistance of 4 kN for an 8 mm rope and 7.6 kN for an 11 mm rope. Its breaking point is 12 kN, ensuring maximum reliability. With a weight of only 35 g, the Tibloc easily integrates into the equipment without adding unnecessary weight.

It is important to always use the Tibloc with a locking carabiner of sufficient diameter for pinching the rope. This ascender meets CE EN 567 and EAC standards, thus guaranteeing its quality and compliance with safety standards.
