Efficiency and precision in airborne and maritime operations are crucial for the safety of armed forces. The 12 Light Landing Zone Kit from Adventure Lights is a state-of-the-art ZL5 marking system designed to maximize the range and flexibility of operations, even in challenging conditions. This kit includes VIPIR™ SMART beacons offering five output colors and the ability to be activated manually or remotely, ensuring optimal coordination and visibility.

With features such as Light Shaping Technology™ and adjustable tripod mounts, this system is indispensable for ensuring the safety and efficiency of soldiers in various operational environments. The controller and repeaters allow for maximum range and flexibility, even in less-than-ideal conditions where the line of sight may not be available. The controller can reach beacons kilometers away using the three included encrypted signal repeaters, ensuring reliable and secure communication.

The 12 Light Landing Zone Kit contains 12 VIPIR™ SMART beacons that feature five output colors: red, blue, green, white, and infrared (IR). The beacons can be activated manually or remotely, and six remote frequency (RF) groups are available to activate in different outputs and flashing modes. Beacons set to the same RF groups will flash in unison, ensuring perfect coordination on the field.

The kit's contents include adjustable tripod mounts for the repeaters and beacons, Light Shaping Technology™ beacon shrouds, and Powergrip™ battery caps to enhance the battery capacity of the beacons with two AA batteries, significantly increasing overall runtime. The kit also comes with batteries, user instructions, a durable NANUK™ case, and two accessory pouches, providing a complete and ready-to-use solution.

Available lighting modes include "Follow Me," continuous, and 48 BPM flash, allowing adaptation to the specific needs of each mission. The VIPIR™ SMART beacons are designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -20 to +65°C, ensuring reliable performance in extreme conditions.

In terms of transmission and reception distance, the controller can reach up to 500 m (VIPIR or repeater), while the repeater can cover 400 m to VIPIR and 800 m to another repeater, with a range of over 1.6 km air-to-ground to the first repeater. The VIPIR™ beacons can be placed at a recommended elevation of 40 cm, in line of sight, for optimal performance.

The kit is also designed to be waterproof, with an IP68 rating for the controller and repeater, and waterproof up to 100 m for the VIPIR™ beacons. The batteries used include four 1.5V alkaline/lithium batteries (type: AA) for the controller, two 1.5V alkaline/lithium batteries (type: AA) for the repeater, and one 3V Lithium battery (type: 123A) for the VIPIR™ beacons. All components are made of high-tech polymer, ensuring durability and resistance in the most demanding environments.
