The Petzl Basic ascender is an essential tool for law enforcement and military professionals, combining **compactness** and **versatility**. Designed for tactical and technical use, this ascender offers an excellent grip, thus facilitating maneuvers in the field.
The Basic stands out for its ability to function effectively in difficult conditions, thanks to its toothed cam with a cleaning slot. Whether the rope is frozen or covered in mud, the stainless steel cam ensures **increased corrosion resistance**, guaranteeing optimal performance.
This ascender is also versatile, capable of being used for ascending a fixed rope or as a back-up in a hauling system. Its design includes a large lower hole for easily connecting lanyard and footloop carabiners, as well as an upper hole for clipping the rope.
Weighing only 85 g, the Basic is compatible with ropes from 8 to 11 mm in diameter. Made of aluminum, stainless steel, and polyamide, it meets CE EN 567, CE EN 12841 type B, and EAC standards, thus ensuring quality and safety in line with professional requirements.
