RIG Descender

The Rig's compatibility with various types of ropes and its compliance with international standards attest to its versatility and reliability in demanding usage conditions. Rope installation is facilitated by guiding and indicative markings, and two descent modes are possible, on the side plate or in the V-shaped braking groove.

The AUTO-LOCK system allows for quick positioning without having to manipulate the handle or create a stop knot. As soon as the user releases the handle, the rope is automatically locked in the device. The automatic return of the handle limits the risk of unintentional snagging, and once locked, the rope can be taken up without having to manipulate the handle, making it easy to perform short rope ascents.

The Rig also features a locking cam on the movable side plate, allowing the rope to be installed while keeping the device connected to the harness, facilitating the passage of re-anchors. The automatic transition of the handle to the storage position when the rope is removed from the device reduces the risk of unintentional snagging when the descender is carried on the harness.

With a heavy load descent capacity of up to 200 kg and a stainless steel protective reinforcement on the rope friction zone, the Rig is designed to last and withstand wear. Weighing only 400 g, it complies with EN 341 type 2 class A, CE EN 12841 type C, CE EN 15151-1, NFPA 1983 Technical Use, and EAC standards, ensuring safe and reliable use with different ropes.
