The Arctic Gf socks from Brynje are designed to meet the demands of missions in cold environments, offering optimal thermal protection. Thanks to their design, they maintain operator comfort in temperatures ranging from -10°C to 5°C, while withstanding extreme conditions down to -30°C.
These socks combine the natural warmth of merino wool with the durability of polyamide, ensuring superior performance. Merino wool, known for its insulating properties, is used at 80%, while polyamide makes up the remaining 20%, providing robustness and longevity to the product.
The polypropylene mesh lining is a major asset, ensuring effective moisture wicking. This feature is essential for keeping feet dry and comfortable, even during long periods of intense activity. The Arctic Gf are not only warm, but also breathable, thus preventing any accumulation of sweat.
In terms of care, these socks require special attention: it is recommended to hand wash them or use a wool program at 40°C or less. It is not advisable to machine dry them, use fabric softeners, bleach, or dry clean them, in order to preserve their properties and durability.
