AVAO BOD harness

The Petzl Avao Bod harness is an exceptional solution for professionals operating in demanding environments. Its unique X-shaped construction effectively reduces pressure points during prolonged suspensions, ensuring unparalleled comfort.

The semi-rigid waistbelt and leg loops of this harness provide optimal support. They are wide and lined with breathable perforated foam, which enhances comfort during prolonged suspensions. The widely spaced foam shoulder straps minimize neck chafing, offering a more pleasant use.

For increased safety, the Avao Bod integrates a post-fall system designed for less traumatic suspension. In the event of a fall on the dorsal attachment point, the load is distributed over the leg loops, allowing the user to remain suspended longer while awaiting rescue. Additionally, a fall indicator is present: a red strap appears on the dorsal attachment point after a fall to indicate that the harness must be retired.

This harness offers great versatility thanks to its various attachment points: ventral for a descending or single-mode positioning lanyard, lateral for a double-mode positioning lanyard, sternal and dorsal for the fall arrest system, and rear on the waistbelt for the restraint lanyard. Each attachment point is designed to meet the specific needs of professionals.
